Mindfulness is a mind full of here and now; being intimately in tune with what is going on inside and outside our bodies, in relation to ourselves, others and the world. It is an invitation to keep returning to the unfolding of our life in each moment, with care and compassion. A practice to begin with, a way of being, and love itself as we embody it more and more. At the root of it, mindfulness is a way out of suffering.

 Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR)

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an experiential program developed and popularized by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachussetts Medical School. MBSR has been shown in clinical research to have a profound effect on one’s ability to effectively regulate the mind, and consequently the emotions and, to a significant degree, physical health. It is used in complementary and alternative medicine programs at 800 plus universities and hospitals worldwide, according to a recent count. MBSR offers a powerful, integrated approach to working with our daily physical, emotional and psychological stress, as well as offering powerful coping tools for dealing with chronic pain and debilitating illness. For many, this program provides a solid foundation for deep emotional healing and spiritual growth.
